DramŠok
ArtLaboratorija DramŠok is a dance and rhythm studio for children and young people.
Here, music and movement come together in choreographic compositions, turning into stories, scenes, and entire performances. Our classes explore rhythm and movement: from simple steps to advanced combinations, from the expressions of the body and unusual objects to artful movements in space.
In an atmosphere of co-creation with teachers, guest artists, and experts, as well as with the support of parents, participants learn to listen to each other, work in an ensemble, control their bodies, and find their voice - on stage and in life.
Each performance is not just the result of practice, but a lively, sincere event where the energy, movement, and contribution of each person create an unforgettable story.

We are a creative team that strives to inspire and surprise! Choreography, rhythm classes, and synthesis - we don't just create art, we live it. Our laboratory is a space where ideas become reality and there are no limits to creativity.

Our history
DramŠok was founded in October 2021, officially registered on February 2, 2022, and since then we have been actively participating in various festivals and projects. Every step along the way has been inspiring and full of discoveries.
Our participants
Our team includes children, teenagers, and young people of different ages. We are friends with professional artists, directors, screenwriters, artists, musicians, and sound engineers. Each of us brings our own unique perspective and experience, which makes our projects diverse and multifaceted.
Creative activities
We do choreography, beat out rhythms on various objects, most often on barrels, sticks, buckets, and anything else that makes a sound. We study acting and use the skills of participants who sing and play musical instruments in our productions, plays, and performances. We participate in various festivals, competitions, and many other initiatives that help reveal the potential of the group's members.
Projects and achievements

• The performance “In Search of Magical Pages.” Based on J.K. Rowling’s novel Harry Potter. 2023
• Vilnius Street Music Days 2023–24.
Theater Festival “January Blizzard” - 2024. We are proud to have left our mark on the cultural life of our city and Lithuania.
• The performance “Star Wanderer.” Based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince.” 2025
• The performance “In Search of the Lost Time.” Based on the fairy tale play by Evgeny Schwartz, “The Tale of Lost Time.” 2026

AgeWe work with students and young people from the age of 6. The activity programme is designed with age and psychological characteristics in mind: each group receives an appropriate level of training, assistance and support to help them explore their abilities. -
Artistic events and projectsWe often spend time together outside the studio, organizing creative meetings, collaborative projects, and trips to different cities and countries in Europe. -
Festivals, competitions, celebrationsOur performers take part in competitions, city celebrations, and international festivals, representing Lithuania on the stage with artists from Latvia, Estonia, Spain, Denmark, Bulgaria, and other countries. -
MusicThose who have already tried their hand at singing, playing instruments, or creating rhythms and want to apply their experience in our productions can find themselves on stage here. Music fits perfectly into the performances and becomes part of our large community projects. -
Rhythm classesThis is a unique direction for DramŠok, in which rhythm sets the mood for the entire performance. We create a powerful and vibrant sound using a variety of drums and objects. Barrels have become our trademark, filling our performances with energy and making them recognizable at festivals and big stages. -
It's all made from scratch.DramŠok is a creative factory where participants, parents, friends, and professional artists work together to create everything: stories, scripts, costumes, and unique props for each performance. It's easy to get caught up in the creativity here - the energy and inspiration quickly spread to everyone who joins us.
